We have a little bit more than the basics, but my sister, Dusya (her name is Russian), is visiting us on March 23 and will bring bunch of the clothes and toys from our 2 nephews and niece (triplets)!
Another reason why we were kind of quite was that there was a chance that we would have to change the dates for Trip 3. During our visit on Trip 2, we were informed that Diego got sick with bronchitis and when he was separated from the other kids, he may have become in contact with a kid with chicken pox! They told us that they estimated incubation time would end by March 9 and then they would know if he is getting it or not... That was a Sunday, and then where was the holiday on Monday, so yesterday we were finally able to get news from Podolsk. And as of March 11, Diego didn't get the chicken pox!!!
The adoption decree is final on March 14, so we have requested authorization to pick him up from the baby home on March 15. I know that it may be a little hard on us, but we really want him to be with us as soon as we can and pick him up right from the airport! Carol told us that Svetlana will try her best to arrange the pick-up day for March 15, but we will get confirmation tomorrow!
So just in case, I re-did our luggage again, so we have Diego's clothes and main essentials and the orphanage gifts are now in our carry-ons and the rest in the two check-in luggage. I know that it may not be practical, but we are bringing diapers, formula, a box of cereal, and some baby snacks for Diego. You can probably find them in Moscow in a grocery store, but at least the diapers were way more expensive than in States (like $20 for 30 diapers, while we bought 144 diapers for $28 in BabiesRUs). For the other solid foods and juice, we will just get it in Moscow.
I know, we are really close, but still doesn't feel real... Hopefully tomorrow we get the final confirmation on our Gotcha Day!

Thanks for the tip about the diapers. We'll take some with us now.
Glad to hear he didn't get the chicken pox. How exciting that you will have him with you forever in just a few days!
