Go Illini!

A cool part of the Thanksgiving trip was to visit our friends Manish and Anu in "Chambana" (AKA Champaign-Urbana). Manish, Mark, and I spent two years there while we were working on our Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering. Those years at UIUC were some of the hardest ones in my life and I couldn't wait to be out of there. But now that Manish is back for his PhD, we really enjoy having an excuse to go back and visit him and his wife.

So we head there on Saturday and met them for lunch at "La Bamba", to have burritos "as big as your head" (that's their slogan). The place has improved and nobody felt sick after eating there!

Then a stop to the Engineering Quad. Are we still geeks?

But, before we met them, we did a quick stop to "re-stock" with our Illini apparel... well, not for us, for our little one!!

Yeah, right now we are assuming we will have a little boy... But if somehow we have a girl, I have no problem with a girl wearing a lot of blue!! Aren't they cute??!!??
